Know an amazing nurse who you want to recognize? Gales would love to hear about them. Please submit the follow two requirements:
30-120 Second Video - Tell us why you would like to recognize the nurse you are nominating.
250-500 Word Essay - Share a story about the impact the nurse you are nominating has had on your life or on their patients' lives.
If the nurse you nominate is selected as a winner, you may also be asked to provide the original video file, as well as a headshot or high quality photo of them at work.

Are you a nurse? Gales wants to hear your story and recognize you for the incredible work you do. Please submit the follow two requirements:
30-120 Second Video - Tell us what being a nurse means to you.
250-500 Word Essay - Share a story about how you have impacted a patient's life or how a patient has impacted yours.
If selected as a winner, you may also be asked to provide the original video file, as well as a headshot or high quality photo of yourself at work.
How to Submit
All video submissions must be posted to TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube using the hashtag #Gales4Nurses and by tagging us @WearGales.
If submitting via TikTok or Instagram Reels, please shoot the video in a vertical format. If submitting via YouTube or Instagram TV, please shoot the video in a horizontal format.
Be sure to include a link to your video, as well as your essay, contact information, and social media handles along with your submission.

Consent
For content in which a patient, provider or other person is recognizable, the subjects included must provide clear, informed verbal consent for the content to be produced and to be posted publicly on social media (and other various platforms). Without this consent, please do not submit your content for entry.
We do not encourage or condone, and will not consider entries that violate a subject’s right to privacy. Contest entries must follow all applicable laws and policies regarding photography/ videography and the use of social media in and around the workplace.

TERMS
CONTENT RIGHTS
You retain rights to any content submitted. However, by entering the contest you grant Gales a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly, display, distribute and reproduce the entries in whole or in part. Any content reproduced will include producer credit.
DEADLINE
The contest begins August 1st, 2021. All entries must be submitted AND posted to social media (YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram) using the hashtag #Gales4Nurses by 11:59 AM Eastern Standard Time on September 30th, 2021.
JUDGING
Judging will be based on originality, creativity, quality, responsiveness to the prompt(s) and overall impact. Gales will select a winner who will be notified via email, as well as tagged in a social media post. Gales will also select multiple runners-up, who will be notified via email.
USAGE INFO
Gales, sponsors, and press outlets may select content to highlight on our blog, social media channels, website, or events. If so, you will be notified prior to the use of said content.
