I am over weight and 58 years old. I have Diabetic Neuropathy and can not stand to have shoes tight across my toes. I was reduced to crocks... But lately I am having trouble with them staying on my feet. The Gales are shoes and the toe box is loose enough to limit pain. And with heel spurs... The spring in each step is so comfortable. I just ordered a second pair. THANK YOU GALES.
I have ''On- cloud'', ''Cloves'' and ''Asics'', and my gales are by far my most favorite so far. They have vents, so my feet do not feel sweaty, yet they are splash/fluid proof (C-Diff proof!!). These shoes are the most lightweight feeling, that put a spring in my step when walking. I highly recommend these for any healthcare professional, or service personal that will need a great new pair of non-skid shoes.
As a surgical resident, I get so much use out of these shoes. I was a little skeptical as they did squeak when I first put them on, but the squeaking has stopped and they are very comfortable for long shifts on my feet. I get so many compliments on these shoes and nurses/doctors asking where I got them. They also protect my feet and wipe clean really easily so I’m not afraid when I get blood/fluids on them. Have become my favorite shoes. Highly recommend!
2nd night in a row of wearing my Gales. Best purchase ever!! #1 reason is that my plantar fasciitis and knees didn't act up at all! (Wasn't walking like an old woman at work and actually able to get out of bed with no aches and pain) No break in period needed (brought other shoes just in case), shoes were very cushiony and true to fit.
I got my Gales for nursing school, and let me tell you, my feet feel like they are on cloud nine! These shoes are light, plush, easily wipeable, and a necessity for nursing students and nurses alike! Go grab your pair now!
I tried the original Gales and while they were a great cushiony shoe, they were quite narrow on my feet. This new Pro Line is great. The fit is much wider and roomier in general. No rubbing or squeezing. The all white color is perfect for my nursing school uniform requirement! Maybe they’re not the most stylish shoe you can buy, but I think they’re subtle enough and all we care about is comfort when at work. Very lightweight yet substantial - they aren’t cheaply made. The holes on the side allow for air flow to avoid sweaty feet. And there are no laces or books and crannies for fluids (or worse) to hide in. Easily wipeable. Very happy with the Pro Line and I’ve been recommending to all my fiends. Thanks Gales!
I've been wearing Gales shoes for two years and love them! No more tired achy legs or sore feet! I've tried so many other name brands only to be disappointed. Im excited to try the nurse Blake line! Can't wait to order a pair!
I love my new Pro Line Shoes! Wore them to my 8 hour shift and my feet (+ lower back) still felt great at the end. Love that the bottoms are rubber too for slip resistance because the floors at my work are often wet and slippery! These provided great traction. I ordered the white on white and have my eyes on the fun orange color next!
Still my favorite element is how super easy to clean they are especially for the white version! Love the air vents, I get sweaty feet but not with the new air vent design!
Perfect nursing shoe- simple, reliable, comfy
My shoes arrived and I’m Loving the new Proline. Sooo comfortable and fit great with a nice wide toe box!
I received my Gales+ few days ago and they are super comfortable! I use them on a day to day basis and are very resistant.
I love the aesthetic of the shoe and it’s weight (you don’t feel you are wearing shoes!). Also super easy to clean.
Love my Gales 😍
THE BEST shoes for standing hands down. I've always had issues with my knees in running shoes but since switching to STAND+, I no longer have joint pain / pressure.
My knee has a slight fracture from a fall a year ago. My knee would hurt me and have swelling as well. I have noticed that ever since I have been wearing these shoes that I don't get swelling anymore. They really have helped me at work and my feet no longer get swollen after work.
I received my 3 pairs of Gales (white, blue & grey). I am not in the medical field and use them for gardening, on the pool deck, and just for general wear. The comfort is incredible & they are so easy to just wipe clean.
Wow! I was not prepared for these bad boys! They are super light, like the weight of 3 tennis balls, easy to put on and take off and, man oh man, its like walking on clouds. I wore them for 3 days straight and forgot I had shoes on. I suffer from a lot of ankle and knee pain and wearing these really help alleviate unnecessary pressure on my joints. I got the white pair and wore them out to meet some friends to “break them in” (trust me when I say, “no breaking in needed”) and living in NYC I accidentally got some gross smudges and what I thought were scuffs. Got home and used a lysol wipe to clean them, and just like that, brand new!
They are breathable and an absolute joy to wear. Whether your keeping it together on the front lines or letting loose on the dance floor, these Gales are there to support you!
I ordered the same size as I would in Nike and they fit perfectly! My feet are a bit wide and did not feel cramped at all. Super comfortable and have great arch support too.
I definitely love these shoes! They are comfortable, easy to clean, lite and easy to wear.
However I had to modify the shoe to make it more comfortable for my feet. I had to trim, (yes you read that right) the top of the shoe on the front
It was digging into the top of my ankle area. After I did that! They've been perfect.
I would definitely recommend them. But modifications might be need. I got the Pros because I have fat, wide feet.
I'm not a nurse but I wear these around the house and I spend A LOT of time here because I work remotely. I constantly forget that I'm wearing them. They're also anti-slip and saved my knees on a wet kitchen floor, so I can't wait to test these babies out when the temperature starts to dip! Super comfy, ultra light, and a hell of a lot more acceptable at the store than fuzzy slippers.
Omigosh, I wore this with my antiembolism socks. Every step, skip and hop...running I took to get to the next patient felt so good. The cushion-y feel, the way the shoes would mold to the movement of my feet, as I moved around the unit, felt good with these shoes on. These are the best shoes I've ever worn. I have wide feet and I've had a lot of jobs where I am standing on end for hours, and not just nursing. I wish I could've known about these shoes sooner. I wear 8.5 wide and I love these shoes so much. Mid shift I thought I would get that tired feeling that radiates from my feet for having tortured them for hours by standing and running throughout shift, that kind of tired that makes you sigh from sheer exhaustion.... But nope! I didn't feel that at all. I love these shoes.
As a professional chef with over 20 years of experience working in the kitchen, I have tried numerous pairs of work shoes. The ANTIGRAV2 by Stand+ has truly impressed me. Working 10-12 hour shifts I used to experience significant left ankle pain by the end of the day. However, since switching to the ANTIGRAV2, that pain has completely disappeared.
These shoes provide excellent support and their nonslip works exceptionally well. The fit and feel of the shoes are top-notch, making long hours on my feet much more bearable. I highly recommend the ANTIGRAV2 for anyone in need of reliable and effective work shoes.
My second pair. The length and width are perfect but they were tight on the top of my foot when I got them. I used the hair dryer trick to heat them for 15 seconds and put my foot back in, they molded to my foot perfectly. Still the most comfortable shoes I've ever walked in, feels like I'm on clouds.
I have been trying different types of shoes the last 10 years in healthcare. I have worn pretty much every type of shoe that is popular: various running shoes, Clove, Dansko, Nurse Mates, etc. I really, really like these shoes! I'm a PICC nurse and was inserting a PICC line the other day when I had a blood spill all over my shoes. Swiped off with a purple wipe easily after I finished up. They are fantastic for standing still while putting lines in. I have no fatigue from standing or muscle or joint pain after. I'm not sure that I could physically sprint around in these shoes, but for my job which is putting lines in and walking all over the hospital on calls where I walk a few miles per shift, they are great.

I bought the White, Grey, Orange, Yellow and Tan pairs ... it's all I wear now ... to Work, Golf or Casually ... most comfortable shoes there is.
They have absolutely listened to their feedback and improved everything we asked for! Breathable and wider! Exactly what I needed! Have worn them every day since I got them! I work in food 8 hours a day 5 days a week and my feet have not hurt once! Thank you!!!
I work as a surgery tech at a vet hospital, doing 10-12hr shifts. I've tried other brands, even clove. But omg gales have been the commies shoes yet and super light weight. They squeak a little when I walk but I'll happily squeak if I get to be comfy all day... now I just have to wait for more "fun" color options
