STAND+ US Army Medic - Michelle De La Pena BSN, RN, CEN, TCRN, CCRN
STAND+ Supports Those Who Support Us.
We are honored to feature our Ambassador of the Month, US Army Medic, Emergency Department Nurse Michelle De la Pena BSN, RN, CEN, TCRN, CCRN.
Michelle began her healthcare journey in 2013 when she joined the US Army National Guard as a combat medic, despite having no prior medical background. After overcoming challenges, including failing the first NREMT exams, she perservered, became an ER tech and later a nurse, graduating as her nursing class speaker in 2019.
Now, Michelle works at a Freestanding Emergency Department and is triple board certified (CEN, TCRN, CCRN) which has allowed her to explore different avenues in nursing.
"I believe anyone can succeed with perseverance and support. I'm honored to be the STAND+ Shoes Ambassador of the Month, representing resilience and dedication in healthcare," said Michelle.
We are proud to be represented by Michelle and grateful for her contributions to the STAND+ community and lives she saves!
